Connect to Send Artifact’s hosted MCP
Publish and manage artifacts from your assistant using your Send Artifact account, or publish temporary artifacts without an account.
Use this URL when adding a remote MCP server or custom connector.
Choose your assistant
Claude
- The name and URL are filled in for you. Continue to the authentication settings.
- Choose Sign in now to connect your account during setup, or Sign in when needed to publish anonymously and connect your account later.
- Under OAuth client, choose Register automatically. Leave Request headers and Advanced settings unchanged, then add the connector.
If Claude detects “No sign-in,” choose either sign-in option above to enable account features. “Use Claude’s published identity” is not supported by this preview.
ChatGPT
- Enable Developer mode in Settings → Security and login. Open Plugins, select the plus button, and name the plugin Send Artifact.
- Choose Server URL and paste the URL above. For Authentication, choose OAuth to connect your account during setup, or Mixed to publish anonymously and sign in later.
- Leave Advanced OAuth settings unchanged. Registration should be Dynamic Client Registration (DCR); no client ID or secret is needed. Review ChatGPT’s notice and create the plugin.
- In a chat, ask “Publish this artifact on Send Artifact.” If ChatGPT cannot find the connection, select Send Artifact from the tools menu and ask again.
This is the preview installation flow, which uses developer mode. Send Artifact is not yet listed in the public directory. If no actions appear, refresh the plugin’s metadata before trying a new chat.
Another assistant
Add the URL above as a remote MCP server with automatic OAuth registration. Choose OAuth to connect your account during setup, or optional or mixed authentication, if available, to publish anonymously and sign in later.
Custom connector availability depends on your plan and your organization’s settings. We’re still validating the complete publishing journey in each assistant.
Choose how to publish
With an account
Ask: “Publish this as a private artifact in my Send Artifact account.”
If your account is not connected yet, sign in with Google or an emailed code, choose your publishing handle, and approve access.
Without an account
Ask: “Publish this as a temporary artifact on Send Artifact, without signing in.”
Anyone with its share link can open it for seven days. Your assistant also returns a separate, private claim link. Open that link and sign in to keep the artifact.
Using a coding agent or a terminal?
The agent instructions cover the CLI and MCP. Use the CLI when files are available locally; use this connector from a hosted chat. Both can publish complete static bundles.
