What is Send Artifact?

Send Artifact publishes static HTML — usually made by a coding agent — to a stable link you control. You decide who can open it, see when it's viewed, and republish to the same URL as the work evolves.

Do viewers need an account?

No. Most links open instantly. When a publisher asks for verification, viewers type their email and a one-time code — no password, no signup.

Can I see who viewed my artifact?

Yes. Every artifact counts views by version and day, plus unique viewers. When a link requires an email, viewers are listed by address, and verified addresses are badged. Your own opens are marked with your role.

Can I control who opens a link?

Every artifact has an access level: private, specific guests (individual emails or whole domains), anyone with the link, or public. Guests prove their address with a one-time email code. On public and link-shared pages you can also require an email — self-reported or verified — before the page opens.

Can readers leave comments?

Yes. Anyone who can open the artifact can select the text they mean, or choose Drop a pin to pin a spot — in a meeting or async, no account needed. Comments ride the same gate as the link, and you can switch them off per artifact. When you're ready, you hand the threads to your agent to address and republish.

What happens when I republish?

The URL never changes. Each publish adds a version, readers always get the current one, and you can roll back. If you rename a link, the old name keeps redirecting and stays reserved.

Is it safe to open artifacts that run JavaScript?

Artifacts run in a sandboxed frame on a separate content domain, so a page can't touch your Send Artifact session, your other artifacts, or anything else you have open. Public pages can be reported for review.

How do coding agents publish to Send Artifact?

Tell your agent to publish to sendartifact.com and read sendartifact.com/llms.txt, or paste the prompt on the homepage. The first publish needs no account: the agent returns a 7-day unlisted link and a private claim link. Open the claim link to sign in and keep it. With an account, your agent publishes and updates using your saved key.
