Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Send Artifact ("we," "us," or "our"), including sendartifact.com, published pages served from sendartifactusercontent.com, and our publishing tools, API, and integrations. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Using the service
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are not old enough to enter into this agreement yourself, your parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf. If you use Send Artifact for an organization, you must have authority to agree for that organization.
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in codes, API keys, and claim links secure. You are responsible for the actions you authorize through your account, including actions taken by an agent or connected tool. Tell us at support@sendartifact.com if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
Your content and our permission to host it
You keep the ownership rights you have in the artifacts, files, and comments you submit. You must own that content or have the permissions or other legal rights needed to publish it, share it with your chosen audience, and grant the license below. This also applies to AI-generated material and annotated copies of other people's pages: linking to a source does not itself give you permission to republish it.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, transmit, and display your content, and make technical changes needed to render it, solely to operate and secure the service and provide the features you use. We may allow our service providers to do the same on our behalf for those purposes. This license does not transfer ownership or permit unrelated use of your content.
The license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except for copies retained for legal obligations, security, or backup recovery; those copies remain subject to the same limited purposes. Removing content cannot recall copies that readers already saved or that you shared elsewhere.
Sharing, privacy, and agents
You are responsible for reviewing what you publish and choosing the right access settings. Anyone with an unlisted link can pass it on, and anyone allowed to open an artifact may save its contents. Keep credentials and secrets out of published files. Our security overview explains the service's protections and current limitations.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle account information, comments, and viewer data. Publishers are responsible for having a lawful basis for the personal data they upload, any notices or permissions their use requires, and their use of viewer information. Do not use that information for spam, harassment, or unlawful tracking.
Review the permissions you give an agent or integration and the work it produces. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, insecure, or infringe someone else's rights. View statistics are estimates and do not prove a person's identity, understanding, or agreement. Third-party tools and websites have their own terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use Send Artifact to:
- Publish unlawful content, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or share information you have no right to disclose.
- Distribute malware, steal credentials, run phishing or fraud schemes, impersonate others deceptively, or send spam.
- Threaten or harass people, exploit children, or distribute non-consensual intimate material.
- Bypass access controls, probe accounts or data without authorization, interfere with the service, or evade usage limits or a suspension.
If you discover a security problem, report it to support@sendartifact.com.
Temporary links, limits, and availability
Artifacts published without an account are temporary: they expire after seven days unless claimed. Keep the claim link private, and keep your own copy of anything important. Expired content may be removed, and recovery is not guaranteed.
We may set or change storage, traffic, publishing, and other usage limits to keep the service available. Features may change or be discontinued. When reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of changes that materially reduce your access to the service. If we introduce paid features, we will explain the price and payment terms before you choose to purchase them.
Reports, removal, and suspension
Report unlawful content or rights violations using an artifact's report link or by emailing support@sendartifact.com. Include the artifact URL, a description of the issue or work involved, and a way to contact you. If you are reporting for someone else, explain your authority to do so.
We may remove content or restrict or suspend access when we reasonably believe it violates these terms or the law, threatens the service or other people, or must be removed to comply with a legal obligation. We terminate accounts of repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances. We may act immediately when needed; otherwise, we will make reasonable efforts to explain the action.
If you think a removal or suspension was a mistake, contact support@sendartifact.com with the relevant details. You may stop using the service at any time, delete your artifacts, or contact us to request account deletion.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that content will never be lost. Keep independent backups.
Artifacts and comments are supplied by their authors. Hosting them does not mean we endorse them or have verified their accuracy, safety, or legality. You are responsible for deciding whether to rely on them.
Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, or data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for claims arising from the service or these terms will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms takes away mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version will always be available here with its effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice on the service or by email, except when an urgent legal or security need requires a faster change. Changes apply going forward. If you continue using the service after the changes take effect, you agree to the updated terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service.
